Performed preventative maintenance for gas furnace. System is fairly old and from 1999. Inspected all the electrical components. Confirmed proper high and low voltages. Customers system should have a 16x25x1 filter not a 14x25x1. Saw a gap allowing dirt to flow through. Cleaned the burners, flame sensor and burner compartment. Performed a combustion analysis on the furnace. System is operating at 81.3% efficiency with a CO level of 25ppm. Tested the amp draw for the blower and inducer. Both are operating within the manufacturer specs but a little on the high side. Recommend updating the system in the near future due to age and condition. That being said system is operating properly at this time. Model #Kg6ra096c-16 Serial #Kg699158834

Performed preventative maintenance for a Bryant furnace model #312aav048110, serial #3402a44386. I powered the system down and removed the access panels. Removed and cleaned carbon off of the flame sensor and cleaned out the burners and burner box. Replaced the air filter size 20x25x4 homeowner supplied. Checked the pressures switch to ensure that there are no clogs. Checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. I powered the system back up and called for heat. I took a combustion analysis test and received the following readings, o2 is at 17.6% and the co levels are 58ppm. The co levels are elevated however this is probably due to age. The inducer motor amp draw is .22 and the blower motor amp draw is 6.7. The system is operating properly at this time however due to the age of the system chud cannot Guarantee that there won’t be issues in the future. My recommendation is to update the system to prevent issues in the future.

Upon arrival the homeowner stated that there was a loud banging sound coming from the system when it shuts down. The evaporator coil’s are clean and in good condition. Tested the drain pan, drain line and condensate pump with several bottles of water to ensure that there are no leaks or clogs. I observed the condensate pump running but when it stops it make a banging sound. The condensate pump is about 8 years old and should be replaced. Performed preventative maintenance for air-conditioning system as well as checked out the water heater due to customer found water on the floor. Inspected all the electronic components. Came out today for a system not cooling properly. Upon inspection I found that the thermostat was calling for ac at 72° and it is currently 83 at the thermostat. The temperature split is at a 20. I noticed that there is a new air filter in the system and a severely clogged filter on the floor. The condenser coil’s are clean and in good condition. The refrigerant pressures are 155/326. Sc is at 7 and sh is at 23. I cannot find any issues with the system at this time. In my professional opinion the system is operating properly. This is a Warehouse setting where they use machinery that put off a lot of heat and we are also currently in the middle of a heat wave. Bill out due to contact not here.

On arrival found breaker for air handler shut off. Inspected air handler briefly just to make sure filter was clear. Found a failed capacitor in outdoor unit and replaced it on site. This system is an older style R-22 system. I strictly addressed the problem for this system and did not tamper with any other controls due to the age. At this time the system is functional. Amperage readings on condenser fan and compressor are elevated but within range. Chud would recommend getting some quotes to upgrade the system as components could fail during the season.

Came out for no ac call. System is blowing air and outdoor condenser fan it running but air is not being conditioned due to a compressor not running. Pulled the disconnect and reinserted it a few minutes later to attempt to restart the compressor at the outdoor unit. This unit was installed on Dec. 3 2012. A recommendation for new equipment will be made and chud will be following up with the customer. Mitsubishi condenser- S#1001594 T M#MUZ-GE15NA

Customer called for air conditioning blowing hot air. Upon inspection I found the system operating at 70/197 with 1° subcooling. This shows the system is low on refrigerant charge. Being this is the second time it’s been low since last year I recommend adding EZ-seal with the refrigerant. System seems to be low on approximately 3lbs. Once I start the charge and weigh it I will know for sure. System did take 3lbs R410A. Customer approved adding the ez seal dye/sealant, The air filter was very dirty as well. Customer supplied a filter to change it (16x25x1). Final pressures were 127/332 with a subcooling of 10°. System had a temperature split of 20°. No follow up is needed at this time. I let customer know if he wants the find the leak sooner than later to call to have us back out in approximately 4 weeks or he can have us out at the end of the season if it holds and lastly have us out next season in the beginning to look over the system. System is operating properly at this time.
